Paul Herron has been writing and singing songs for many years and played or shared

the bill with many of the biggest names in folk music, including Dolores Keane, Altan,

Arcady, Eric Bogle and Maire O'Connell.  His first solo album was released by Scottish

label Green Trax and won a great deal of critical praise.

"Paul is a unique writer and performer who heralds strong links to Ireland's rich musical past.

I can only admire his ability to paint a picture as his narrative unfolds, leaving the

listener in the moment with him.  His songs represent a man who has many

stories to tell and they are a pleasure to listen to. A real gem of the North West"

Daryl Simpson- The Celtic Tenors

"…Probably the best singer songwriter in his idiom to emerge in several years."

Noel McAdam, Belfast Telegraph

He sings new life into tried and trusted themes of love, hope and wandering with

songs of his own making and a voice that sounds intimate, friendly and late at night."

Tommy Sands

"Paul Herron writes powerful songs and delivers them beautifully.." Gerry Anderson, BBC
