Sarah is an internationally renowned flautists who has recently brought her outstanding talent to Irish traditional music.

Married to Kevin, Sarah has worked extensively with him across a number of groups.

Sarah studied at the Guildhall School of Music with Philippa Davies, Kathryn Lukas and Edward Beckett. A musician of exceptional talent Sarah is equally at home with the Ulster Orchestra, which she plays with regularly and traditional musicians from around the world. She has performed at many festivals and venues across Europe with leading musicians.  Some of her personal musical highlights include: sell out performances with Juan Martin at London’s South Bank Centre; performing with the Brodsky Quartet in the Schleswig Holstein Festival; and collaborating with Turkish musicians at the Istanbul Festival in the spectacular 6th Century Church, Aya Irene which sits in the grounds of Topkapi Palace.

As a founding member of the ground breaking group Orbestra Sarah has recorded the album Transdanubian Swineherd’s Music produced by the legendary Joe Boyd. Sarah has done a number of live broadcasts for the BBC including BBC Radio Ulster’s Sounds Classical programme and was involved in the 2010 Trunk Animation project Whistleless. Before moving to Derry, Sarah alongside Kevin also spent many years working with the flamenco guitar virtuoso Juan Martin. In April 2011 she reunited with Juan’s flamenco group for a sell out performance in the National Concert Hall, Dublin.
